Authorities, universities and civil society organizations discussed about the integration of migrants in Region 2 at the Final Regional Conference in Constanta
Foundation World Vision Romania, as a beneficiary, together with the Novapolis Association – Center of Analysis and Initiatives for Development – Partner 1 and the Civic Resources Center Constanta – Partner 2, organized on 6th of Aprili 2017 the Final Regional Conference for Region 2: counties of Constanta, Tulcea, Braila, Vrancea, Bacau, Vaslui and Galati.
The event debated the integration of the beneficiaries of international protection (BP) and respectively the third country nationals (TCNs), as well as the national and the local measures and strategies in the field. At the same time, during the conference, the results and the impact achieved by the project in Region 2, Constanta, Tulcea, Braila, Vrancea, Bacau, Vaslui and Galati, were presented and there were also analyzed the difficulties and the possibility of continuing the activities and suggestions for future development in terms of necessities and the specific social needs of the target group on material assistance and financial support for BP and TCNs, aid and psychological support, legal advice and support for recognition of diplomas, financial support to family reunification, labor market integration etc.
The event took place at Constanta, within the project “INTEGRATION +: Services and assistance for migrants in Region 2”, funded by the National Programme- Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (contract reference number: FAMI/15.03.02), with a duration of 12 months and a total value of 1.469.247,47 RON.
