Final conference – the integration project in Oradea

Filantropia Oradea organized on Tuesday, 07.05.2019, the final conference of the “Integration NOW – Complex and Unified Approach for Migrants” (second phase) FAMI / 17.02.05.02.

The conference took place at the Butoiul de Aur Restaurant, in a multicultural and dynamic atmosphere.

A significant part of the conference was the moment in which the mediators, volunteers and beneficiaries of the project were invited to present their life experiences as foreign citizens in Oradea in a free way, the problems they encountered and the role of this project in their integration process, the importance of the authorities involvement and the local community, their proposals for facilitating the integration of foreigners in Romania.

Statistics were presented, challenges, activities and results obtained as part of the project, but on the same time the role and importance of the local authority’s involvement was emphasized.

The conference ended with presenting the perspectives of continuing the activities of the Regional Integration Centre Oradea, proposals, recommendations and conclusions.

50 people that participated in the trip to #SalinaTurda and #GradinaBotanicaClujNapoca on 23.03.2019 can confirm how awesome Romania really is!

Beneficiaries watching a nice documentary in Oradea

On 28.02.2019, the International Integration Collection Centre Filantropia Oradea, hosted a relaxing evening get around for foreign citizens, to watch the documentary that went around the world, The Untamed Romania. This evening helped us all to share our experiences and enjoy the beauty and the complexity of Romania.

This event was organized as part of the project “Integration NOW – Complex and Unified Approach of Migrants” – FAMI / 17.02.05.02., financed by the European Union and the General Inspectorate for Immigration through the National Program – Asylum Fund, Migration and Integration.
